FUNDRAISING AUCTION
Our Fundraising Auction ended on Sunday 13th January and we raised $2,500!! Thank you to everyone who placed a bid, commented, tagged or shared the post. It is all a heart breaking tragedy and I still have trouble holding out tears every time I watch the news. But it's truly uplifting to at least see how the communities, individuals, small and larger businesses have gathered to help in any way they can. Unfortunately is this is far from over, and if anything else positive comes out of this, it's that this has been a huge wake up call… somehow I don’t know how some have not heard it before... it is deafening! This cannot become the new normal.
. Keep up donating, volunteering, crafting and making your voice heard.
. Try and channel any negative emotions into positive actions.
. Be the best you can!
. Thank you 🙏🏼
These charities below are our personal favourites if you would like to make any donations.

Port Macquarie Hospital. “The Koala Hospital established in 1973 is an activity of the Koala Conservation Australia Incorporated - a Not-for-Profit Organisation which is recognised world-wide as a peak body which participates in forums for debate on significant policy issues and plays a significant leadership role in research, providing advice and information to Universities and Governments regulating change.”
Wildlife Victoria - Victorian Bushfires Appeal. “Donations to our Victorian bushfire appeal will be distributed to wildlife shelters and carers to help rebuild enclosures and equipment that they have lost in the fires so that they can continue their lifesaving work, and support those that are struggling to cope with the enormous number of animals that will need care in the coming weeks and months.” @wildlifevictoria
Savem – South Australian Veterinary Emergency Management. Our Mission is to assess, triage, treat, shelter, reunite with owners or rehabilitate and return to habitat all species of animals post event. In response to an Emergency incident where SAVEM’s veterinary expertise is required, SAVEM is Activated by Primary Industries and Regions South Australia (PIRSA). We collaborate with other similarly accredited agencies, such as the RSPCA, to respond to animal welfare issues in-field, and on request will support and assist PIRSA’s veterinary officers in incidents involving livestock.
