When burning your candle for the first time it is very important that the wax melts to the edges to avoid your candle from tunneling.

Before lighting your candle each burn, we recommend that you trim your wicks. This prevents mushrooming which can create soot and blackening on your candle jars. By doing this it also creates a nice burn and you will get the most out of your candle. Keep in mind burning your candle for more then 4 hours at a time is not recommended.

Instead of blowing out your candle try this awesome way to put it out without creating smoke. You can use a plastic spoon and pour the hot wax directly over the wick until the flame goes out or try dunking your wick straight into the pool of wax. YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!
Some may put their lid straight on top of the flame to put their candle out, this can cause the candle to smell like smoke and ruin the fragrance of your candle and cause soot on the inside of the candle jar.
