Following on from our positive experience collaborating last year on a three-month retail showcase with Elizabeth Bull from One Fine Print, we've now created The Design Co-Op. This Design event brings together a total of 14 brands, 3 interior designers and 20 industry professionals in a five event speaker series. That's 37 collaborators!
Spread over three days in March 2018, The Design Co-Op will celebrate the blending of unique Australian design brands and empower attendees to realise that any space can be transformed into a meaningful ‘home’. We invite you to join us from March 23-25 in Melbourne.
The event aims to strengthen the existing design community, encourage the growth of new networks, promote boutique local design brands, and offer interactive learning opportunities for both industry professionals and the design-savvy public.
This design show is also part of the Melbourne Design Week's satellite events. "In 2018 Melbourne Design Week looks at the theme Design Effects and delves into the wide reaching nature of design in its broadest sense. From the physical to the creation of experiences, services and identities, it asks: What effect does design have on the environment around us? How is design a catalyst for change?"
Melbourne Design Week is an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
